 EVANGELISM "All authority has been given to Me in heaven and on earth. Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the  Holy
Spirit, teaching them to observe all things that I have commanded
you; and lo, I am with you always, [even] to the end of the age"
(Matthew 28:18b-20).It is the responsibility of every believer in Christ to share the gospel with this lost and dying world that they might receive the knowledge of the truth and be saved. To this end our church engages in various ministries to facilitate evangelism. Several times each year our flock holds evangelistic worship services at various youth detention centers in our area. In different seasons the church also sponsors backyard Bible clubs in some of our surrounding communities to reach children and their families for Christ. In more recent months some of the men of our congregation have begun preaching the gospel in the open air and distributing tracks to those who gather to listen. Our desire is that the Lord will continue to open doors for effectual, Christ-centered evangelism and missionary endeavor. |
