 THE DAUGHTERS OF SARAH DISCIPLESHIP GROUP The Daughters of Sarah takes its name from I Peter 3:5-6, which says: "For in this manner, in former times, the holy women who trusted in God also adorned themselves, being  submissive
to their own husbands, as Sarah obeyed Abraham, calling him lord,
whose daughters you are if you do good and are not afraid with any
terror." This is a discipleship group for the ladies of our church
which meets in a home on the third Tuesday night of each month. The
ladies meet each month for approximately two hours for three purposes:
accountability, prayer, and Bible study. These sisters in the Lord hold one another accountable for their faithfulness in private worship; both their faithfulness in the Word and their steadfastness in prayer. As time permits, the women pray for one another's needs. The time ends with a Bible study in which important topics are addressed in order to deepen our faith in Christ and His Word. |
